Welcome to Nest Fest: SPELLBOUND

The Nest’s fast-paced festival of brand-new theater,

built on collaboration, creative risk-taking, and a little bit of chaos.

 

Here’s how it works:

We give 7 playwrights a theme, a shared set, and a few creative parameters. They have 2 weeks to write an original 10-minute play. Then, the scripts are handed over to 7 directors and up to 28 actors, who have just 2 weeks to rehearse and bring them to life. 

The result?

7 completely original plays, fully staged and performed for two nights only. No one knows exactly what these artists are going to create — and that’s the fun of it.
